Book Fairs nearer to home this year. The Sign of a Good Book Fair The Provincial Booksellers Association has been organising book fairs since 1974. We aim to provide a wide ranging selection of books at all prices, in a variety of subjects, for both the reader and the serious collector. Wherever possible we welcome disabled visitors to our fairs and strive to provide a relaxed atmosphere in which customers may browse at leisure. Who

Cambridge Book Fair Welcome
to our 34th annual fair, East Anglia’s largest such event. As
one of the P.B.F.A.’s longest established fairs it has a special
place in the calendar. This years event aims to be as good as the preceding
33. Some 70 dealers will be gathered at the heart of this historic City. They will be exhibiting thousands of books, as well as a scattering of maps and prints. A printed catalogue of exhibitors is
available, and will be supplied free of charge, just follow the complimentary
tickets link for your copy. We hope to see you in February.
Cambridge The Historic City of Cambridge is home to some of the most magnificent buildings in England. Since the first college – Peterhouse - in 1284, the University has steadily grown. Perhaps the crowning glory is the magnificent King’s College Chapel, a building of international renown. The city is also home to numerous museums, of which the Fitzwilliam is the largest. The University Library looms in the West of Cambridge, and In February it will be staging an exhibition marking the quatercentenary of the birth of John Milton. ‘Living at this hour: John Milton 1608-2008’ look under Links for Visitors for details. We are well supplied with pubs, and cafes, and restaurants to cater for all tastes. At this time of year we may be a little optimistic in recommending another of Cambridge’s special experiences – the punt trip- but a walk along the Backs is always a delight. |
